To create the new visuals for the 2019 Village Christmas Candle. The only stipulation was that we showed Santa's face as the previous years didn't and sales were down.

The solution was an amazing label that truly captured the essence of Christmas.

I created several sketches showing different concepts. I googled-earthed the Yankee Candle flagship store in Williamsburg, Virginia and was able to see physical signs in the store to use for my inspiration for the typography on the candle label. We had a Christmas photoshoot in July and were able to capture a lot of amazing santa poses.

The candle outperformed the previous years in sales and was well received by consumers.
