PROWESS CONSULTING
Jamie Costa was looking to revamp design operations at Prowess consulting. He reached out and asked if I would join him and help take Prowess design into the modern era.
I showed leadership that design is more than just a service. It is more of a strategic resource. The work we did proved its value. We were able to grow the team by bringing on two more designers. Jamie earned a well-deserved promotion and raise. I eventually moved on to take the role of Creative Director at Aqua Lily Pad. It was two solid years of growth, great work, and a turning point in my career.

SENIOR DESIGNER TURNED CREATIVE LEADER
At Prowess Consulting, I helped reshape how the company approached design. We built what became the new era of creative. In a short amount of time, the design finally matched the quality of the technical work the company was already known for.
I evaluated our full process, from design-workflows and scheduling to presentations, and more. I found areas for improvement across the board. I helped lead the creation of concept boards, pitch decks, white papers, animated stories, technical and promotional videos, product release materials, internal documentation, and everything in between.
I worked alongside some of the sharpest technical writers in the country and helped shift how we communicated complex information to consumer-facing audiences. Translating highly technical solutions for C-suite executives and IT decision-makers isn’t easy, but with the right design approach and support from a world-class editor, we made it work.
I also overhauled how we approached video production. I worked directly with our animator and video producer, Damon Wuben, and launched a bi-weekly deep-dive series where he walked our team through his process and capabilities. It immediately improved our output. We delivered stronger videos, faster, and we won more work because of it. It also gave Damon space to lead and show his range as an award winning producer.
PROWESS RESEARCH TECHNICAL-PAPER TEMPLATES
This is the space to introduce the Services section. Briefly describe the types of services offered and highlight any special benefits or features.

Dell Technologies - Step into the future campaign.
To create a campaign urging customers to upgrade to NVMe RAID on Dell PowerEdge R750 Servers.
Target Audience: C-Suite members and IT Decision Makers

Intel vPro Performance Video Series
Each video tells a different story. My role was to unify those stories. I developed a set of standards that could be carried out and used in each of the videos that unifies them as a family. From the animations to post production, this 5 part video series flows smoothly.

Microsoft Surface - Promotional and Technical asset creation
To create a series of visuals for the new Microsoft Surface lineup of products. These assets included long form infographics, E-Books, Emails, digital flyers, solution briefs and more.

Intel + Lenovo - Better Together Campaign
The ask was to convey the benefits of Intel’s Select Solutions. A Lennovo rack with an Intel server is a great combination.
Both are good individually but they are certainly better together.

WEBSITE - RECREATION
Prowess had a website that worked, but it lacked the wow that our clients had come to expect from us. We did a deep dive and thoroughly examines the need and expectation from our website. As a company it did not do us any favors highlighted and showing off our work as it was mostly done behind the scenes and for a very specific audience. The need to showcase our projects wasnt there.
The design aspect came from the location of our headquarters which was in the PNW. I drew inspiration from larger than life landscapes with inspirational subject matter. We had always utilized mountains as a design element so I really took that and made it a key component in the design.
Jen | Web Developer at Microsoft

We needed a way to post our technical papers in a way that was easy for the user to use. I mimicked Youtubes, wireframe as my model and created a unique way to show and filter through our technical papers and research findings.
